First of all - we have been getting introdced to youth street which will be strating this sat night!!
We got to write down our preferences on where we would like to help out! And also our skills so that they can use them also!
Tonight I was really struggling with my mind battles again - thinking thoughts I didnt want to think - thoughts I knew were bad but I find hard to control!
After the meeting we were in, my one on one leader Maddie and Gill my new friend :) prayed for me and it really helped lift me up again!
I really want to be more loving like God in the way he deeply loves - not by feelings alone because love is not just a feeling, it is also an action...
Like denying your flesh to help someone in need - forgetting about your own problems when God has given you an opportunity to help someone else!
God hass called us to serve and love others with a brotherly love and thats how we reflect Gods love to others and that is how Maddie and Gill showed me Gods love tonight!
I am a sinner yet through grace and my humble willing heart, God can forgive me everyday for all the sin I commit!
He does this for the whole world and not just select people because God does not have favourites but loves us all equally , yet his love is indescribable.
One ting I want to grow in is to be open to hear the promptings of the Holy spirit to evangalise and tell others the good news about God - and to be courageous enough to step out in faith in order to hear the holy spirits promptings too!
Gods love is soo incredible - we learn more about it everyday we journey with him!
Thank you God that you chose to love us by your mercy and Grace and Love - thank you for seeing potential in us!
