Identity

This week has been such a good week!

Our lectures have been on Identity and destiny! We have been encouraged about who we are in christ!
This may be a shorter blog today because I don't want to write for too long!

At the end of the week we were asked to write down on a piece of paper all the lies we have been told by the enemy and on another paper the truth of what God says about us! I found it hard to think of them even though I knew that I have believed lies about me!

After everyone had made their list, we had a time of ministry we everyone got in a big circle in the auditorium  and people came and stood in the middle and spoke out the truths over their life, to overcome the lies they have believed!

Seeing others step in the circle was so cool because as they proclaimed the truths of what God says about them over their lives and they began believing the truths, god began bring freedom and breakthrough in their lives.

Seeing others being set free also helped bring freedom in me from just standing in the circle! It was really challenging for me to get past myself and be supportive of my sisters and brothers in christ as they were seeing breakthrough in their life! It was a really good challenge!

We had ministry time like this for two days with several lectures throughout the days because there were a few people that wanted to go forward for breakthrough!

God really helped us to keep pressing in because so many of us were tired from how long we had been doing it, but we needed to keep being their for each other.

I didn't really think that I needed to have prayer for anything because  I felt OK even though I knew there were things in me that were holding me back......... but in the end I said to one of the staff that I felt that I should go in to the circle and declare the truth from god over my life!

From that I felt better then before I went in - I don't think that  a huge weight was lifted off of me  but I know that God did do a work inme like he did with all the others whoe went in for prayer!

Sometimes we have to physically fight for what it going on in the spiritual and that is what happened in out two day ministry time :) but it was amazing!
God is continuing to do amazing things everyday as long as we stay open to him and let him move!

God is:
Faithful
Merciful
Gracious
Loving
Caring
Gentle
Forgiving
He never leaves us or forsakes us

... I love writing about God on my blogs and what he is doing so much!

He is strong
He gives us hope and future
He gives our lives purpose!!

Last night a group of us went to the movies here and we split up in groups and went to watch 3 different movies! I went to watch 'the kings speech'...it is a really good movie - It reminded me in some parts of our week of lectures this week on identity!

The movies here are expensive- they are the same as New Zealand, but when you have only a specific amount to last your whole time here its alot - I dont know if I will be going to the movies again :)

It was fun though! I would recommend the movie 'the kings speech' to anyone who likes drama movies :)
We got back to the base at 11:50 at night but it was really nice walking back then because it wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold - it was just right!!!!! :D:D

It is really nice having the weekends free because you can sleep a little longer - during the week we have to be up early to exercise three times a week and then up early for breakfast the other days we dont exercise - im not complaining :) but it is nice to sleep a little longer!! :D

I have been enjoying youth street too! I had a go on the skateboard yesterday for the first time - I was thinking that it would be quite cool to learn a bit while I am involved on the skate team :)
And God has been using me too which has been really cool !!

Im so glad when God over flows out of me in these blogs and in my mind and in my conversations!

I really really hope people would be encouraged and see God in these blogs more and more :)

.....
This blog isn't short after all lol
Godbless

God satisfies our every need!!
