Ofiicially Started :)

First of all ... sorry about the spelling errors on the previous posts- I have been trying to type fast :)

Today we started our first official day!
We had a really cool worship time this morning with the whole school and then we split into our own schools as in Reef to utback, Not for Sale and the Bible course.

In our first meeting with the reef to outback we heard about what the leaders feel this quarter will be about:

1-Faithfulness and Goodness of God
2-Being ourselves
3-What to us is giving our all to God right now

It was really cool - and then we wrote a letter to ourselves or to God just saying what we wanted out of the DTS or where we are at right now and things like that! It will be really cool to look back on that in 7 weeks and see how God has moved!

Then we met with one of the main directors of Ywam Townsville and she was telling us a bit about it and herself   - she was really nice too! And then we got introduced to the chores around here that we need to help with because it wouldnt be fair if we left it all up to the leaders!!

We were encouraged through scriptures in the word that wordk can be worship to God and it isnt just about raising our hands and singing songs to God.
The Word of God says out fruits increase as we work hard - something along those lines.

It is about finding Joy in the work we do and that pleases God!
If we dont enjoy our work it becomes labour and it no longer glorifies God.

The director asked if there were any seamstresses here and I didnt put my hand up because I didnt want more chores but then I was convicted and I realised this is a way I can use the skills god has given me to give him glory while i'm here :)

So .... I may be doing some more sewing :D that will be cool!

After that we met up with the class again and discussed the workbooks and journals and assignments we are getting - we got out first book to read - but right now I cant remember what is is called :)

There are so many amazing things coming up and I can write more about them when they happen!

For God so loved the World he gave his only son that who so ever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life!

God loves us all and has amazing plans for us all and is our help in time of need when we humble ourselves and repent of our sin.

The more we say 'Yes Lord' The mmore the Lord will lead us in his life

Be faithful in the small things and God will trust you with great things!
